My Work.
Logos
I was the faculty advisor of the student chapter of the American Advertising Federation for almost my entire tenure at Texas State University. While on our annual agency tour to New York City, the students were exchanging messages about clubbing and getting tattoos. They must have forgotten, or didn't care, that I was part of the group chat, so shortly after midnight I posted a Photoshopped picture of my upper arm with the chapter logo on it and told them I waited at the tattoo parlor as long as I could. I'm pretty sure half those students think I'm walking around with "Ad Club" on my bicep. Good logos are like tattoos—simple, easily and attractively reproduced in black when money is tight and tells a story.
